Sioux Garrett Heuer

Food The Sioux were farmers and hunters. They hunted small game such as deer. The fruit they ate are chokecherries and other fruit.

Tools/Weapons Sioux warriors used warclubs buffalo hide shields and bow and arrows. They sometimes used spears.

Transportation They used dogs and horses. They also used sleds birchbark and dugout canoes.

Homes They used deerskin and elkskin to make tipies. They made wigwams from these and other materials

Clothes They used deerskin and elkskin to make moccasi ns and a breechcl oth. They colored their skin with bri ght colors.
