God Created the Universe O Day 1 = Light O Day 2 = Dome in the middle of the waters, to separate 1 body of water from another O Day 3 = Water is gathered into a single basin, dry land appears, seed bearing plants, and fruit bearing trees grow O Day 4 = Sun, moon, & stars O Day 5 = Sea creatures & Birds O Day 6 = Land creatures, insects, all kinds of wild animals, man & woman O Day 7 = God rested and blessed this 7 th day and made it holy

First Creation Account Reveals……. O One, true, unique God O God = greatest of ALL beings and He is the supreme being who creates ALL life and keeps it in existence. O We learn a lot about God, but human words/ideas can only explain so much, so God will remain a mystery to us in this life. O We will have FULL and COMPLETE knowledge of God in eternal life.

4 Attributes/Qualities of God O God is eternal - He always was & always will be O God is all-powerful – He can do anything, he is perfect O God is all-knowing – He knows EVERYTHING ~ past, present, future. He still lets us choose and act freely O God is ever-present – He is everywhere at all times
