Symbols of Zeus The Golden Eagle and the Wolf are his animal symbols. The shield, lighting bolt, oak tree are some of his object symbols. Zeus lived on Mt. Olympus

Zeus was married to his sister, Hera, and they had three children; Ares, Eileithyia, Hebe. Zeus also had affairs mortal women and female animals.

Aegina, Alcmena, Calliope, Cassiopea, Demeter, Dione, Europa, Io, Leda, Leto, Mnemosyne, Niobe, Semele – these were only a few of the immortals Zeus had an affair with

Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades divided creation. Zeus took the heavens, so he gave Poseidon the sea and Hades the underworld.
