Fragmented Contour Portrait 1.Find magazine portrait/head

2.In PENCIL draw basic contour lines of portrait on tag board. Head MUST fill almost all of page. Draw big. 3.Go over pencil lines with thin sharpie.

4.Using RULER and PENCIL, start on sides and draw diagonal lines going across the image, creating fragments. About 6 lines total. 5.Using ruler, go over diagonal lines in thin sharpie.

5.Working around the image, shade each “fragment” with pencil. Work for a good range of light and dark values.
