WHAT MADE MICHAEL JORDAN FAMOUS Michael Jordan is famous because he is the best basketball player that ever lived. He became an amazing basketball player by practicing whenever he could. In high school he practiced before school after school and weekends. He was only 5’10” in 10 th grade and didn’t make the varsity team so he worked harder and by the summer of 11 th grade he was voted as one of the best high school basketball players in the nation. He had a very supportive family, they taught him to work hard and always do his best. He didn’t like to loose, if he was playing a card game with his friends, he would make them stay up until he won.

JORDAN’S FRIENDS & FAMILY Michael Jordan had a mom dad and older brother, a younger brothers and two younger sisters. When he was thirteen, he and his big brother Larry, built a basketball court in their backyard. Larry used to beat him at basketball and he would get mad, he was always the last one to go in. In 1993 his dad was murdered by two teenagers, Michael was very sad but he continued to work hard at playing basketball. Michael got married in 1989 to Juanita and has two sons Jeffrey and Marcus, that are very important to him.
