Spatial Inequality The unequal distribution of wealth or resources in a geographic area. (some placed are richer than others) VS.

This is a picture of a wealthy house in Mexico City. This house probably belongs to a landowner, or a leader in business or government. The owners of this building most likely hire the working poor as maids, gardeners, or drivers.

This is a picture of a poor house in Mexico City. This house probably lacks electricity and running water. The owners of this house may work as maids, dishwashers, cooks, construction workers, street venders, or bus drivers.

This is a picture of a wealthy house in Detroit. This house probably has high security systems and employed workers like maids and landscapers. The owners of this house most likely have a high position for a business company.

This is a picture of a poor house in Detroit. There is probably no security or employees for this house. The owners of this house most likely have low paying jobs that most people don’t want to do such as grocery workers, gas station workers, or bus driver.
