How to Apply to Utah State University

Deadlines Fall Semester: April 1 Spring Semester: October 1 Summer Semester: April 1

Required Materials Application (online or paper) Application fee ($40 nonrefundable, $55 if late) High school transcript ACT or SAT scores Concurrent enrollment transcripts

Requirements 2.5 high school GPA 18 ACT or 860 SAT (does not include the writing portion) 90 index score Check out the index scoring system on the next slide If you don’t meet these, you will be considered on an individual basis

College Prep: Required High School Classes 4 years of English emphasizing composition/literature 3 years of Math selected from elementary algebra, geometry, intermediate algebra, trigonometry, college or advanced algebra, or calculus (strongly recommended that students take up to at least trigonometry). 3 years of science courses that meet either state or local graduation requirements. At least one course must provide a laboratory experience.

1 year of American History 4 years chosen from at least two subjects of the following: history, English, mathematics beyond intermediate algebra, laboratory science, foreign language, social science, and fine arts. 2 years of a foreign language (recommended the same one) College Prep: Required High School Classes
