Statewide Literacy & Parental Involvement Campaign Campaign Goal Empower Florida’s families with strategies and activities that will promote effective literacy practices at home. What will be provided?  Florida Standards aligned literacy curriculum and strategies.  Opportunities for parents, families and students K-12 to engage in meaningful and enjoyable literacy activities, both technologically and face-to-face.  Information and resources that accommodate the needs of children with literacy learning challenges, and/ or are linguistically and culturally diverse.  Professional development for district literacy and parental involvement specialists related to engaging families in effective student literacy practices. Timeframe Information regarding the summer launch is forthcoming and will be available via our bureau’s site. Summer 2015
