WARD RETURNS OR BED STATE  In-patient data indicates the activities of inpatient services in a health institution.  Data collected through a form commonly known as a Daily ward bed return or Bed state  These are forms used in the wards.  It used to record inpatient data for 24 hours, start from pm to pm the following midnight.  It report the remaining number of patients in the ward.

The purpose of bed state  Preparing report for the patient who admitted at the hospital daily, monthly and years.  Many hospital use bed state as the source of information for input process and out put of the hospital demand.  To know number of patient admitted in each ward.  Determination of number of male and female admitted at the hospital.
