Essential Questions Colonial America What were the differences between the Northern, Southern, and Middle Colonies? Why did Europeans explore the Americas? What impact did the Columbian Exchange have on the Americas? What role did slavery play in the shaping of colonial society? Where were the Spanish, Dutch, French, and English colonies located in the Americas? What impact did geography have on the 13 English colonies? What were the various reasons people settled in the 13 English colonies?

Terms for Unit 2 Colonial America Great Awakening - a religious movement that took place in colonial America during the 1730’s and 1740’s.
