Presentation transcript:

When you play a sport, you should always use a muscle(s). For example: Rugby Union: You would use your arm muscles to pass the ball, you would use your leg muscles to run and kick the ball. Some sports you would have to use only some muscles like motorbikes sports, you hardly don’t use your hands in this type of sport.

Muscles used in this sport: The main muscle(s) you would usually use in RUGBY UNION is the leg muscles because you run every time you get the ball or chase the ball off the kick off. You use your biceps and triceps to pass the ball and throwing the ball into the lineout.

For this sport, CRICKET, you would use your hand muscles so you can grip the bat tightly. Usually you would use your gastrocnemius, your gastrocnemius origins connect to the bone. The lateral head and medial head are part of the gastrocnemius. These leg muscles you use for running, attacking the ball (going to the ball), bowling and shuffle to the side as wicket keeper.

Muscles used in this sport: In this sport its mainly about kicking goals, so most likely it’s using your leg muscles to kick. To pass the ball you hold it in one hand and knock it out with your other hand using your hand muscles. You use your leg muscles to jump on the back of a player and do a specky.

Muscles used in this sport: In the sport of golf, you would usually use the arm muscles. e.g. biceps, triceps and the deltoids. You would use these arm muscles so you can swing and hit the ball with the club. You also use your hip muscles so when you swing you can hit the ball further and straight.
