 Listen to what your children are trying to tell you.  Adults don’t always know more than kids.  Looks can be deceiving.

 Third Person Limited Omniscient

 Suspense  Fear of the Unknown

 Mink and other young children are gathering metal objects for a game called “Invasion”.

 Mink tells Mom about Drill  Mink tells Mom about Drill’s promises  Mary learns “invasion” is happening other places  Dad comes home and they hear explosions.  Parents run to the attic  Mom throws away key  Parents hear marching, see light

 Mom and Dad see the attic lock melt and realize they aren’t safe.

 Mink says, “Peek-a-boo!”

 Something will happen to Mink’s parents and other parents across the country.
