Saltwater fishing Saltwater fishing is a unique experience, it offers a vast variety of fish, and very eventful day out on the water. Common saltwater fish caught in Texas: Red Snapper Grouper Barracuda Seabass
Pros of saltwater fishing Bigger Fish More water More varieties of fish
Freshwater fishing Freshwater fishing is a lot more mellow than saltwater. It is better for kids and beginners, it also offers good scenery in most places. Common Freshwater fish in Texas (Lakes, Ponds, and Rivers) Bass(Smallmouth, Perch, Largemouth, Sand) Catfish (Flathead, Blue, Channel), Bluegill, etc.
Pros of Freshwater fishing It is a lot better than saltwater if younger people are fishing because, the fish do not tend to fight quite as much as saltwater. Most freshwater lakes, ponds, rivers, etc. have a lot of scenery, whereas saltwater all you’ll see is more water and maybe a couple of boats.
