IEEE Central Texas Section Chapter Updates Admin & Planning (4) 2 meetings 1 st half - Focus on Chapter vision, mission and 2011, technical program and outreach 2 meetings 2 nd half – Update in leadership team objectives, more outreach Technical Meetings (10) 10 meetings (5, 1 st half, 5, 2 nd half) - diverse topics and speakers including Collaboration with CTS and DL from Iowa State University MDSG Out Reach (4) Austin Career Expo (March 15, 2011) - 28 new names added to IEEE COMSOC Collaboration with New Horizons to serve Austin Community Coast-to-Coast Fairs (April 18, 2011) - 24 names were added to IEEE COMSOC Facilitate brining employers and those seeking employment together National Instrument Week (August 2-4, 2011) - 30 names were added to IEEE COMSOC Customer and Technology Conference. Over 3,000 in attendance Door64 TechFair (September 26, 2011) - 11 names were added to IEEE COMSOC Over 1,000 in attendance Additional Collaboration/Participation (2) IEEE Smart Tech Metro Area Workshop Series (Oct 21-22, 2011) - 14 new names were added IEEE-COMSOC Globecom2011 (Dec 5-8) Promoting Globecom 2014 in Austin. Over 2,000 in attendance Over 1800 giveaways along with 2014 Globecom2014 brochure
