HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL BY GABBY VILLEGAS

BASKETBALL IS A SPORT BEING PLAYED BY TWO TEAMS WITH FIVE PLAYERS EACH. IT STARTED IN AMERICA AND SOON IT WAS PLAYED ALL OVER THE WORLD.

THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME IS TO THROW THE BALL INTO THE BASKETBALL HOOP.

SO HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO GETTING THE BALL IN THE HOOP. FIRST YOU PUT ONE HAND ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BALL AND THE OTHER HAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BALL THEN PUSH THE BALL TOWARDS THE HOOP.

ANOTHER WAY TO GET THE BALL INTO THE HOOP IS TO BOUNCE THE BALL BEFORE YOU SHOOT.

THERE IS ONE MORE TIP TO GETTING THE BALL IN THE HOOP AND THAT IS TO PUT YOUR RIGHT FOOT FORWARD AND JUMP WHILE SHOOTING THE BALL INTO THE HOOP.

TO WIN THE GAME OF BASKETBALL, YOUR TEAM HAS TO GET THE HIGHEST SCORE UNTIL THE TIME ENDS.

YOU ALSO NEED TO PLAY DEFENCE SO THAT THE OTHER TEAM DOES NOT SCORE MORE THAN YOUR TEAM.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE GAME IS TEAMWORK.

SO WE HAVE TO PASS THE BALL TO OUR TEAMMATES UNTIL WE FIND SOMEONE WHO IS CLOSE TO THE HOOP. THE CLOSER WE ARE TO THE HOOP, THE BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING THE BALL INTO THE HOOP.
