Logarithm The logarithm base ( b ) of a number ( x ) is the power to which b must be raised in order to equal x.
Irrational numbers Numbers that cannot be written as a single fraction. The decimal goes on forever without repeating.
Terminating decimal A decimal that end at some point.
Rational number Any number that can be written as a fraction
Repeating decimal A decimal with a sequence of digits that repeats itself indefinitely.
