Modern god and goddess assignment In the Lightning Thief, Ares wears biker clothes and rides a Harley Davidson bike with a shotgun holster. How might the other gods and goddesses look in modern times? How might he or she look today to fit modern culture? Follow these steps to complete your assignment: 1. Pick one god or goddess that you know about. 2. Think about the following: Clothes? Hairstyle? Favorite car? Attitude or feelings? Hobbies? Etc. 3. Create a visual of your god or goddess to be turned in one week from today. Be creative, be original, think outside the box, and have fun with it. It is due one week from today! You will have 1 minute only to present your visual on Friday, November 18.

Rubric 25 pts - on time – Friday, Nov pts – presentation = reveal/explain the character traits of this modern god/goddess through their appearance 25 pts – creative, original, different from others explaining how different in their presentation 15 pts – presentation within 10 seconds of 1 minute time limit (+/- 1:00) 5 pts – eye contact 5 pts – voice can be heard from the back of the room
