Presentation transcript:

James Henry Trotter lives with his parents by the sea. Then one day his parents were eaten by a rhinoceros that had escaped from the zoo.

James went to live with his Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge in England. They were mean and lazy.

Then one day, James met an old, bald, man, who gave James a bag of magic glowing stones. The old man promised that the magic would take him away from his Aunts.

James dropped the bag and the stones went all over the ground. The next day James saw a peach growing on the dead tree in his yard. It grew as big as a house.

James saw a tiny door on the side of the peach and climbed inside. Inside he met seven insects: a grasshopper, a ladybug, a centipede, a spider, a silk work, a glowworm, and an earthworm

The peach fell from the tree, rolled over Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker and into the ocean. 502 seagulls lifted the peach out of the water.

The peach is spotted by the Cloud Men. They throw hailstones at the peach. The peach manages to escape and float across the ocean.

In the morning, the peach lands on top of the Empire State Building in New York City.

James and the insects were given a parade to celebrate.

The giant peach became a monument in Central Park. It is said James still lives there today telling children all about his adventures in the peach.

The End!
