Common pitfalls -One of the main reasons why students are unsuccessful in exams is not reading the question thoroughly! -Why???? -Panic  - instead of taking time to read the requirements we rush straight into the answer. -Exam Tip- Always read the opening information and each task carefully before attempting the question. 3 TITLE HERE 00 MONTH 0000

BPP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FNST- specific exam tips — Section 1 of the exam requires working tables- you must use these to obtain ALL marks. — Don’t be afraid if you have made an error in you workings you will still pick up good marks for the correct entries. — You do not need to fill in the workings table to achieve full marks but it is advisable in order to ensure no marks are lost. —When inputting figures commas can be used but are not necessary, some tasks will not allow you to input commas. 4 TITLE HERE 00 MONTH 0000

BPP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE —Entering.00 in an answer is not needed but if you do include you will not be penalised. —You need to enter negative figures with either a minus sign – 2367 or with brackets (2367). —Brackets and minus signs must be used to indicate negative figures. Unless there is a specific instruction saying otherwise, brackets and minus signs are interchangeable. —Please note AAT exams use the UK conventions for figure work separations and candidates will be penalised if they use non-UK conventions. This is outlined in the introductions to the CBTs. 5 TITLE HERE 00 MONTH 0000

BPP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FNPF- specific exam tips —Please note some tasks use follow on marking or own figure marking. This means candidates will not be penalised twice for making a mistake. —You are provided enough space for 100% correct answers in the CBTs. If you find you do not have enough space for the answer in a task, it would suggest a faulty approach —You do not necessarily need to use the whole space to get full marks —Understanding variances is vital to passing Section 1 6 TITLE HERE 00 MONTH 0000

BPP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE Passing Level 4 units! —All level 4 papers have at least one written task to complete so it is important you practice these questions. —You will NOT pass without attempting the written elements. —Remember these are human marked ! —It is important to use full sentences and be careful with grammar/ spelling. 7 TITLE HERE 00 MONTH 0000
