Prosiect ‘Cyd Dyfu, Cyd Ddysgu’ ‘Learn Together, Grow Together Project

Mae tref Aberteifi yn ardal ddifreintiedig yn ôl diffiniadau Llywodraeth y Cynulliad a hefyd yn ardal Dechrau’n Deg. Mae cau’r bwlch rhwng y dysgwyr mwyaf a lleiaf breintiedig yn un o brif nodau’r ysgol. Mae’r ysgol wedi meithrin partneriaethau agos gyda nifer o asiantaethau megis Dechrau’n Deg ac yn parhau i ddylanwadu ar waith rhanddeiliaid. Sefydlwyd Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Aberteifi yn sgil uno Ysgol y Plant Bach Aberteifi ac Ysgol Iau Aberteifi. The town of Cardigan is defined by WAG as a disadvantaged area and is also classed as Flying Start area. Closing the gap between the most and least advantaged learners is one of the main aims of the school. The school has developed close partnerships with a number of agencies such as Flying Start and continues to influence the work of stakeholders. Cardigan Community Primary School was established following the merger of Cardigan Infant School and Cardigan Junior School.
