Beijing Trip 2016 Student Leaders Overseas Expedition

Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 Trip Objectives  To facilitate the teaching and learning of leadership skills through the preparation and completion of an expedition.  To facilitate character education through outdoor adventure learning.

Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 Proposed Programme The proposed programme would be to scale and hike a total distance of approximately 30km on a restored section of the Great Wall of China in an effort to overcome this extreme challenge. The Great Wall was chosen for this feat because of it is one of the world’s modern wonders, and one of the greatest technological achievements in all of mankind, has long held the imagination of writers, scientists, soldiers, and now of course, travelers and adventurers.
