Both O.T. & N.T. into English 1539 The Great Bible by Miles Coverdale, named because of its size and beauty. King Henry VIII had them chained to the pulpits. People would gather everyday just to hear it read Geneva Bible, used by the Puritans, and Pilgrims. It was small, easy to carry and it was on yellow paper which made it easy to read by candle light Authorized Version (King James Bible) This translation took the gospel around the world. Modern Day: NIV, NAS, NLIV, MET, etc….
