Duties Daily –Review the NAME04 monitoring products (see list on slide 6) from Scott’s Personal Briefing Sequence (see slide 5 for web address) to make sure they are updated. –Participate in the daily FOC-SMN-NCEP briefing conference call (see summary on slide 4) for about 15 min. Weekly –Attend the hazards briefing at 10:00 am on Monday AM in Rm. 802 and consult with the CPC 6-10 day forecaster –Write up a summary of key monsoon features and post this in the JOSS/NAME Field Catalog (the password is cactus04) (see address on slide 7)

Daily Coordination Call Format The call will be led by the NAME FOC briefing forecaster of the day. Participants: the SPC day 2 Outlook Forecaster the NHC Eastern Pacific Forecaster the HPC day 2 Forecaster the CPC Monitoring Director Agenda: FOC-overview of days 2-3 SPC- overview of severe thunderstorm threat in Tier 1 NHC-overview of tropical storm threats to Tier 1 and adjacent areas of Tier 2 within the next 72 hours HPC- QPF over Tier 1 on day 2, days 3-5 CPC- overall monsoon flow pattern over Tier 1; 6-10 day forecast
