The Ghost Lamp

How It Originated The Ghost light is a light that allows actors to see backstage in the dark. This tradition many think is because a robber had fell of the stage (after breaking in) in the dark and got hurt

How Is It Used Today The Ghost light is used today the same way it was used in the 19 th Century to light the stage when the other lights are dark

What is The Safety For It The Safety Caution is the fact that the ghost lamp allows actors to see and not get hurt

Safety first Safety should always be first! That is why the Ghost Lamp exists

Fire Safety What does Fire have to do with Ghost Lamps? Ghost lamps can break and catch fire. Be sure to turn them off when not in the theatre or it might over load and create a fire.
