The halftime conference is an extension of the pre-game conference. The breadth and depth of a pre- game conference is invaluable. A pre-game conference not only gets us focused, but is important preventative maintenance.

Halftime Philosophy Each official is responsible to contribute Veteran officials need to assume a leadership role Game focus must be maintained First half situations must be discussed Essentially only 5 minutes to accomplish halftime adjustments Prepare for the money half No egos/constructive criticism both ways
