PARCC TUTORIAL LEARNING GOAL: STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO USE TOOLS ON THE PARCC TUTORIAL AND NAVIGATE THROUGH A TUTORIAL ACTIVITY WHILE ANSWERING COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS. IN ADDITION, STUDENTS WILL ENGAGE IN ACCOUNTABLE TALK

DO NOW: On a clean page in your journal, create a mind-map and include everything you know about PARCC including how to navigate around the site.

PARCC WEBSITE STEP 1 – log on and open up Chrome STEP 2 – visit parcconline.org STEP 3 – click The PARCC Assessments STEP 4 – click on practice tests (left menu) STEP 5 – click PARCC practice tests (in the middle of the page) STEP 6 – click test preparation STEP 7 – click tutorial (TestNav 8 Tutorial) STEP 8 (if time permits) – go back to tutorial tab and click Practice Tests. Then, click grade level. STEP 9 – start test
