Application Submission Protocol

Application Submission Protocol Process Steps Starting on October 1, 2015, all applications for the Midwest Region, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee, must be sent to a single point of contact for processing. The following procedures will be implemented to ensure the timely processing of applications: Early requests for FHA #’s in conjunction with Pay.gov application fee submissions should be sent to chi.fhanumber@hud.gov Lenders will submit 2 electronic copies (thumb drives) of the applications to: Chicago Regional Center, Production Division Attention: Stephen Ott U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development 77 West Jackson Boulevard, Suite 2300 Chicago, IL 60604-3507

Application Submission Protocol Process Steps, Continued Applications will be uploaded and assigned to a hub/satellite office for processing; Lenders will be notified of the office processing the application and receive instructions from the assigned underwriter on where to forward hard copies of the application; Until further notice, all concept meetings will be conducted in the respective Regional Center or Satellite Office.
