17/03/01 PDR ATLAS Alignment, Olivier Cloué1 ATLAS ALIGNMENT (BARREL) : Installation at CERN (1) zEstimated dates : (Web planning) y11/2004 -> Start of chamber installation (Atlas installation milestone of 14/07/00) y05/2005 -> Date of the last built chamber (planning of 15/01/01) zIntroduction yEach calibrated mechanical support will be identified and traced by a bar code. A mounting procedure on the platform will have to be specified. yThe mounting can begin as soon as the first chamber is ready to be installed on the detector (end of 2004) yWe expect to have a buffer room to prepare and test the chambers before their integration in the detector (mainly for the PRAXIAL system) yReminder: The cabling of the various optoelectronical components will be already integrated (realised by the institutes during the construction of the MDTs)
