Football This photograph seems to have artificial lighting, coming from the right side of the frame. By looking at this picture you know that he is the main focus, but more importantly you can see that his jersey is lit up more than he is. The light really helps you focus on his main points. To me the lighting really helps you focus on him and who he is. You see his jerseys well, and know that he plays football. He’s placed in the middle of the photo so you mainy want to focus on him. Eric John was trying to express that this guy plays football, and it’s a passion for him. Football is a big sport, and and that’s why I chose this photo, worldwide it’s the greatest sport and the fact that anyone can play and this kid plays is awesome. He loves it enough to include it in his senior picture, because like Jack, he probably loves this sport and would want to continue further more playing it.

Baseball In Jacks photo it seems to be natural and a little artificial at the same time, the light is kind of just all around so it’s more natural than artificial. Because Eric is more of portraits, his main focus is the people hes taking photos of, and in this case Jack is still his main focal point. I think that the lighting just displays well on Jack to make him stand out. The story behind this photo seems to be that Jack has a love for the game of baseball, and proudly reps it. Well i decided to choose this picture because it’s Jack, and I know him. But also i like how Eric is incorporating the things Jack loves and cares about.

Smiley Smiley is in the presence of all natural lighting, coming from the right side of the frame. Again, she is the main focal point of the picture but her smile is what really catches my attention. The lighting Eric uses is what really just makes her the main focus, it’s all about her. Since she has such a great smile, I could believe that Eric is trying to bring out her personality and show everyone how beautiful of a smile she has and how happy she is. The way he shows her smile and personality through this picture is why I chose it compared to any other photo.

Criss-Cross All natural lighting is used in this photo due to it being outside, it’s not too bright but it's also not too dark. The girl is still the main focus because he has blurred out the rest of the photo and mainly focused on making her shine. I believe that the lighting and lines of the sidewalk really lead up to her to make her the main center point. In this photo, I see a shy girl showing the world that she is happy and has a smile but sometimes might not like to show it. This photo stuck out to me more because the setting was beautiful and I felt as if I was seeing a story through a picture.

Why so serious Gabby seems to be in the presence of natural lighting. The picture is well lit, and isn’t too dark nor too bright. Gabby is the main subject only because this is a senior photo, and it’s more so focused on her face and natural beauty. He uses lighting very well to expose her, and her smile. I also think the background he chose makes it pop more, the blurred lights and wording just makes it more interesting to look at. I don't see much much of a story but I do think that Eric tries to bring out a persons personality through his pictures. I chose this picture because I really liked the way he used the background to create more of an interesting photo and make her shine.
