Assimilating Info 1.Pre-reading 2.Keep a reading journal (previously discussed) 3.Keep copies of sources. 4.Keep a progress report

1. Pre-Reading Read 1 st paragraph, table of contents (or headings), last paragraph. Then focus on those parts relevant to you. Skim or skip other parts.

2. Keep a Reading Journal

3. Keep Copies Keep copies of any sources you will cite so you can look back at them. Don’t need copies of whole book or article, only relevant sections.
