Micro-Credentials A Micro-Credential is a validated indicator of an accomplishment, skill, quality or interest that is linked to identified individual.

Micro-credentials are awarded on the acquisition of specific knowledge or demonstrated competency of an identified skill. They are validated by recognised professional bodies or educational institutions. The conditions associated with the award of the micro-credential are maintained by the formal credentialing bodies.
