Amazing Grace. Awesome God. Romans 8:12-17

The Lord never changes, but he’s always doing new things …  A new pardon from the king (8:1)  A new friend in the Holy Spirit (8:2-4)  A new obsession for Jesus gives us a reason for living (8:5-11) Amazing Grace. Awesome God.

And there’s more …  We follow someone new  We belong to someone new  We speak to someone new  We inherit something new  We experience something new Amazing Grace. Awesome God.

Romans 8:12-13  We are responsible to the Spirit (12)  We are reinforced by the Spirit (13)  Be different! Be distinctive!  There’s no point in drinking skimmed milk if you can enjoy full cream Amazing Grace. Awesome God.

Romans 8:14  When God does the leading, we do the following  God will never lead us where his grace will not be able to keep us  The Spirit of God never leads us contrary to the Word of God Amazing Grace. Awesome God.
