Word Project 1: Creating and Editing a Word Document 2 Features of Microsoft Word A full-featured word processing program that allows you to create professional looking documents and revise them easily. You can create announcements, letters, memos, resumes, reports, fax cover sheets, labels, newsletters and more. You can change the shape, size, and color of text.

Word Project 1: Creating and Editing a Word Document 3 Terminology Insertion Point – Is a blinking vertical bar that indicates where text will be inserted. End mark – Is a short horizontal line that indicates the end of a document. Mouse Pointer – Becomes different shapes depending on the task you are performing. Rulers – Use to set the tabs, indent, change page margins.
