The History of Space Exploration YEAR 1 SCIENCE

Timeline Assignment  You are creating a timeline that covers the history of space exploration in your SOLE (self- organized-learning-environment) groups  The timeline will be constructed on paper that I provide for you- you are only receiving one sheet of paper!  Your timeline must include at least 10 historical facts and pictures  Your job is to include the most historically important facts using the resources that I will provide for you  On Wednesday, each group will present 2 topics and will give a mini-presentation on those topics (so make sure you do your research!) Once a topic is chosen, it cannot be repeated!

Minimum- Timeline Requirements  Completing the minimum requirements will give you a chance to only earn a “B”- going “to infinity and beyond” gives you a higher grade  Must be completed on the paper provided for you  Title (EQ: What are the major events during space history?)  Dates are arranged in a pattern from oldest- youngest  Each event must be accompanied by a date, description, and picture  Heading must be either on the front or back of the timeline

What are the major events during space history?
