The Discussion Jesus Met Nicodemus Where He Was

Met in secret Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him,… ~v. 1-2a~

Able to Ask Questions 3 Questions “Do I have this right? V. 2b “How can a man be born again?” V. 4 “How can these things be?” V. 9

The Point Jesus is willing to do anything to meet you where you are.

If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever. ~1 Chronicles 28:9b~

The Discussion Jesus Presented the Message Clearly Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. ~v. 3~

We See… How And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. ~v ~

We See… His Motivation For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. ~v. 16~

We See… His Purpose—v. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

We See… Without Compromise Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already,

because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. ~v. 18~

The Point Jesus never compromises the integrity of His message.

The Discussion The Results Took Time John 7:50-52 John 19:38-42

The Point While you still live, it’s never too late to come to Jesus
