 Kinshasa-Capital; located on Congo River  Lubumbashi-National Museum of Lubumbashi  Kolwezi- headquarters for the western mining group of the High Katanga Mining Association (UMHK)  Mbuji Mayi- home to the largest airport Mbuji Mayi  Kisagania- Many important conventions are held at the Stade Lumumba

 Kikwit- has the Mount Nyiragongo, a live volcano.  Bumba- Garamba National Park  Liebo- Okapi Wildlife Reserve

 Bumba- riverboat racing, which was conducted in long, low dugout canoes, each powered by two dozen rowers who achieved great speeds.  Gbadolite- The missionaries who closely followed the first Europeans into the region introduced volleyball.

The yellow star represents Congo as a Province. The blue stands for the prosperity. The red and yellow stripe represents the blood shed.

LOCATION- located in Central Africa, with a short Atlanticcoastline CLIMATE- tropical, hot and humid in equatorial river basin; cooler and drier in southern highlands; cooler and wetter in eastern highlands LANGUAGEGS- French is the local dialect; Kikongo, Lingala, and Swahili is also spoken LIFE EXPECTANCY- 50 years. RELIGION- Christianity ETHINIC GROUP- Bakongo IMPORTS- Ores, Slag, and Ash Exports- Pearls, Stones, and Coins

Kananga-Thousands of fires spread across the DRC, leaving lands burnt and left not being able to be used for long periods of time. Tshikapa-Droughts are also very severe in DRC, leaving thousands with no water, and not enough water irrigate the crops.
