Body Composition – ratio of fat to lean body tissue which includes muscles, bone, water

- Anaerobic – muscles don’t use oxygen, instead they use glycogen - Exercise lasts a short amount of time -Heavy weights = building muscle -To gain strength add resistance - Examples…. Muscular Strength - how much you can lift, push, or pull

Balance – ability to keep an upright posture while standing or moving.

Coordination - ability to use your senses together with your body parts or to use two or more body parts together.

Power – ability to use strength quickly. It involves both strength and speed.

Reaction Time – the amount of time it takes to move once you realize the need to act.

Speed – ability to perform a movement or cover a distance in a short period of time.
