CUT SMALL PIECE FROM CLAY FOR ADDING HEAD AND OTHER FEATURES.

FORM LARGER PIECE OF CLAY INTO A BALL BEING CAREFUL NOT TO FOLD IN. POUND CORNERS AND EGDES UNTIL RECTANGULAR PRISM FORMS INTO OVAL FORM AND THEN GENTLY ROLL AND SQUEEZE INTO BALL.

MAKE PINCH POT KEEPING HOLE AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE.

CUT DOWN VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY (LIKE A PLUS SIGN) ABOUT ½ INCH FROM TOP THIS IS TO FORM THE LEGS. IF YOU WANT A FROG OR FISH SKIP THIS STEP THE OPENING CAN BE THE MOUTH OF THE FROG OR FISH.

PULL LEGS AND MAKE IT STAND.

CUT CLAY FOR HEAD, SAVING WHAT YOU NEED FOR OTHER FEATURES.

FORM HEAD AND ADD DETAILS.

SCRATCH AREAS TO BE ATTACHED AND ADD WATER. (SCRATCH AND SLIP)

ADD HEAD BY TWISTING TO GET OUT AIR BUBBLES AND SMOOTH OUT LINES.

ADD OTHER DETAILS WITH THE SAME SCRATCH AND SLIP TECHNIQUE AND PINCHING AND PULLING.

DRY AND FIRE!
