Origins Need for collaboration between professional associations serving APG Modeled after Combined Professional Association (CPA) serving Fort Monmouth Strong cooperation with CPA, Fort Monmouth associations, APG military and civilian, and local associations Stood-up in February 2009

Purpose/Role APG PAN’s Purpose is to: – collaborate on matters of mutual interest and – coordinate/support program activities of the Professional Associations supporting the APG PAN is an informal group composed of the Presidents (or their designated representative) of member APG Professional Associations. The APG PAN originated to: – assist in the coordination of the growing number of professional associations supporting the APG community and – accommodate the needs of our brethren and their associations that may be transitioning from other locations due to BRAC.

PAN Meetings The PAN meets regularly: – to exchange information, distribute, and publicize information on upcoming events of the various organizations, here at APG and BRAC-affected locations, – to the extent possible to harmonize these events, – to support combined meetings where the APG tenant organization leaders can address all the organization at one time, in lieu of each of the chapters individually, and – through coordination with lead organizations, to facilitate joint events such as APG organizations showcases and command symposiums.
