Statistics Deneb is a blue-white super giant that is 200 times the radius of the sun It has 20 solar masses and if it was in the center of the solar system it would extend to earth It has a surface temperature of 8,400 degrees kelvin and is 1,400 light years away or 440 parsecs away (one parsec is 3.26 light years)

Fun facts In a few million years it will explode into a supernova, allowing protostars to form, and it willl become a neutron star or super nova It is also known as Alpha Cygni, and is in the constelation cygnus
