Presentation transcript:

Chemical Energy Stored in food and fuels. Can change to heat, light or other forms of energy.

Chemical Energy Chemical Energy is created when a chemical compound undergoes a chemical change.

Chemical lightsticks lighten up because its chemical energy. When we break the inner tube of the lightstick, the chemical mixed together and it starts to glow.

Fuels Substances that can be burnt to give out energy. Primarily for heating, cooking, transport and industry.

Coal Black solid. Can be burnt without any processing. Mainly used to generate electricity.

Petrol( 汽油 ) Petrol and diesel oil used in motor cars.

Kerosene Used for cooking and in aeroplane.

Liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) Used for cooking and heating. Recently, used in taxis and minibuses.

Towngas Produced from naphtha, a petroleum product. Used for cooking and heating. Supplied by Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited.
