ESW 7 – NENA Standards Roger Hixson - NENA We are mid-way through documentation development for NG9-1-1, with a number of documents published and more to come Several Requirements documents are completed (Functions, Features, System and PSAP, HMI, etc) The Stage 3 design document for NG9-1-1 architecture is in review and expected to be issued in June-July timeframe

ESW 7 - NENA Standards The NENA NG9-1-1 Project is dealing with not only technical functional and interface requirements and standards, but also: -Emergency Entity/PSAP Equipment and Features -PSAP Operational -System Operational -Database Management -Current to NG9-1-1 Transition Aspects -Large parts of Policy issues done

ESW 7 - NENA Standards Most of the technical aspects are done or nearing completion NENA hosted vendor interoperability testing underway Much of Database Mgmt procedures development in progress PSAP Operational in progress System Ops not really started yet Transition probably 75% complete in draft
