Content of Course Folder Three Main Folders 1. Front Matter – Explains how the scope and sequence Mathematics were designed. 2. Scope and Sequence – Contains the whole Scope and Sequence document and the Year-at-a-Glance. 3. Appendix – Contains the unit overviews, resources and key assignments.

Select a Unit Key assignments are also known as Formative Assessment Lessons(FALS) and to be used approximately 2/3 of the way through a unit. Unit Overview gives you specific details about the unit, including unit narrative, learning outcomes, explanation of the standards, textbook correlation, vocabulary, essential questions, and references to differentiating through Special Populations.
