ABOUT AMATA

Amata municipality in figures Amata is located in Vidzeme region, km from Rīga in east-west direction. There is the highway Rīga -Pskov and railroad passing through the Amata. The total area - 745,51 km2 (74551 ha) Population ~ July 2009 Amata municipality merged by 5 rural municipalities - Amata, Drabeši, Nītaure, Skujene and Zaube.
