Objective The objective of this project was to create a business venture. Throughout this project we had to make informed decisions and design a simulated business.

Meet Entrepreneur Name Describe characteristics about each of you and why you think these characteristics will make you a good entrepreneur.

Food Truck Name Why did you choose this name for your truck?

Food Truck Design Show prototype-Include picture of prototype, if possible. Why did you choose this color scheme for your truck?

Signature Dish What features of this dish will be appealing to customers? Why do you think they will buy it? Include a picture of signature dish, is possible.

Target Market Describe your target market. Be sure to include demographic, geographic, and psychographic segments in your description.

Location Why have you selected this location for your food truck?

Competitive Edge Why is it important to be aware of your direct and indirect competitors? What will you do to give a competitive advantage and standout? Why is your food truck a better choice than your competitors? Think about what makes your business different.

Organizational Structure Share organizational structure and why you choose this organizational structure. What positions do you need to fill for your food truck. What characteristics and/or skills will you look for in these individuals?

Price How did you select the pricing for our food? How do you think price affects volume (number of customers)?

Marketing Mix Show the percentage of your budget you would spend on each of the following areas. Explain why you chose to spend or not to spend money on each of these areas. Use a pie chart. Advertising, Visual Merchandising, Public Relations, Publicity, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling

Business Pitch Description of your product or service. Make sure to include your company’s name. Explanation of the problems your product or service solves or the demands it meets. Explanation of how your product or service is different. Clear reasons why your potential investors and customers should care about your business.

What did you learn from this project? Self awareness of the skills and behaviors needed to be an entrepreneur. How to identify a business opportunity and how to turn business ideas into a business opportunity. The basic building blocks of starting and maintaining a business. Also, we were able to create a business pitch.
