As explained previously, SAPT resources will be pushed out quarterly. 4
The Prevention RFPs were released and OhioMHAS received a grand total of 115 proposals, including 35 for evidence-based practices & 26 for youth-led proposals. There was significant diversity in applicants and topics. Awardees should be announced soon. 5
The recovery housing NARR RFP is due Friday and awardees will likely be announced 9/15. For the operations RFP, awardees will be announced (estimated) 9/17. 6
There will be communication to the field this week on recommendations the department has received for the program. Additionally, trainings will be held throughout the coming months at various locations. 7
The projected push-out date for funding is 10/6, the department should have received notice of intent from courts last week. 8
Video conferences are underway with the 6 board collaboratives to discuss their proposals for the funding in their region. The target date to announce the funding decisions is 9/5, with the evaluation plan and funding expected to be available 10/1. 9
