How to Craft a Google Earth Digital Story Karen R. Chichester Monroe Jefferson High School and the Eastern Michigan Writing Project

Get Started by adding a folder in Google Earth
3. Create Placemarks

3. Add a New Folder You can customize a folder the same way you can customize a placemark.
7. Create a Path This is optional and should be used sparingly.
This is the Tricky Part....You have to play with it. I don't recommend it.
7. Revise/Edit Put Placemarks into your folder. Arrange the Placemarks Proof all text
Drag and Arrange Place all placemarks and paths into the folder you created and named. Drag to arrange the order of your Google Digital Story. Make sure you drag your "new" folder into "My Places." Don't leave it in "Temporary Files."
Choose folder and select "Save Place As" (Remember where you saved the file) and Your Google Digital Story is Done.
