Minority Affairs Commission of North Carolina NCAE Human and Civil Rights Commission

Multiculturalism is the appreciation, acceptance or promotion of multiple cultures, applied to the demographic make-up of a specific place, usually at the organizational level, e.g. schools, businesses, neighborhoods, cities or nations. Multicultural art concentrates on pieces of creativity that have an essence of a certain cultural theme.

Can you tell me a great fact about the cultural make up of Robeson County?

All entries must reflect multicultural themes. Depict or promote positive change or co- existence. This can include various cultures: festivals, holidays, and other celebrations.

All entries must have a completed entry form attached to the back Art work must be matted, mounted, or framed Art work can not be larger than 24x36 Must be turned in to Mrs. Berdeau by 11/22/11 for matting / framing

Winners Winners will be naotified by mail by December 20 th, 2011 Awards will be presented at the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Banquet in January
