Finding the Equation of a Quadratic Function

You need your scatterplot notes! When we found the equation of a line of a set of points in a scatterplot, we found the linear regression. For a set of points that don’t make a line, they MAY be in the shape of a parabola. In that case, we would find the QUADRATIC regression. So, you will graph the dots the same way. But, instead of finding the line of best fit or trend line, you will find the quadratic regression.
