Marana Unified School District Former Employee Survey Conducted by Hanover Research Based on

Key Findings The majority of respondents report that they were satisfied with their employment at MUSD. Respondents were least satisfied with large class sizes and salary and benefits at MUSD. Respondents believe the sense of community among colleagues and professional development opportunities are as good or better at Marana compared to their new districts. Most respondents were regular full-time teachers with six or less years of experience.

Possible Action Steps Continue to refine induction program Provide intentional avenues for administrator support to new teachers Increasing stipends for hard to fill positions Explore salary schedule adjustments Delve into definition of “dissatisfaction with administration”
